Job description

We need an experienced Night Auditor for one of our company hotels in a major metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the day-to-day operations of a hotel and comfortable in an environment where they are constantly communicating with guests and hotel staff. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail and above average mathematical abilities. In addition, this person must be comfortable working long odd hours (including weekends and holidays) and be able to prioritize effectively in a high pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Check guest's identification, sign-in and sign-out individuals to prevent fraud.
• Conduct physical and electronic cash balancing of the registers and record it in the general ledger.
• Communicate with guests regarding queries regarding their bill via email or phone.
• Help guests with issues such as check-outs, resolving billing errors and resolving check-in issues.
• Check ID cards of hotel guests to prevent underage drinking, drug use and prostitution.
• Sort, bundle and tally room keys and ensure they are securely deposited in a safe at the end of their shift.
• Experience managing a retail business such as a department store.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
