JOB DESCRIPTION

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Sample Coordinator to join the Merchandising team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct to consumer retail markets.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Responsible for post market management of all samples for Mainline Leather Goods, RTW, Footwear, Jewelry; Heaven RTW, Accessories, Jewelry; Outlet Leather Goods & Jewelry.
• Maintain database of samples that includes notable product corrections that need to be corrected in post-production, current location of samples, estimate return status, future needs etc
• Follow up with all cross-functional teams on sample return status and condition
• Key cross functional partners: Product Merchants, Creative Services, Marketing Team, PR Team, Commercial teams
• Seasonal Market support including:
  • Showroom organization & maintenance
  • Market photography – packing samples, detailed photography shot lists, coding images
  • Organizing carnet/sample shipments to Paris for market if necessary
  • Data integrity in all systems
• General support for Merch owned product data integrity in all systems – PLM, JOOR, AX

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Entry Level
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to successfully navigate in such an environment
• Highly detail oriented with strong organizational & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Team oriented with ability to multi-task
• Ability to take initiative, ownership, and accountability for all projects
• Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, PLM & ERP Systems

SALARY:

• $45,000 - $50,000
