Job Description

The successful applicant for this position will be expected to leverage their proven track record and operational experience to deliver exceptional technical support services to Kraft Heinz as part of a global team focused on delivering best-in-class network solutions. The Network Operations Manager provides management and operational support for global network services and technologies for Kraft Heinz globally including, but not limited to: LAN, Wireless LAN, WAN, Remote Access, Firewall, Voice and other Telecommunications services. The position requires someone who can effectively manage multiple high priority tasks or escalations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support for network technologies including:

• Remote site wired & wireless LAN
• Datacenter LAN, Load Balancing
• WAN & SSL VPN Remote Access
• Firewall Services, Network Access Control
• IP Voice, mobile and other telephony services

Oversees daily operations of the network across a multi-vendor environment

• Ensure operational SLAs are met while also achieving challenging efficiency goals
• Manage incident, problem and change management processes
• Recommend actions to managed service partners and Kraft Heinz management on technical and infrastructure issues

Identify and drive continuous improvement for network services provided to the businesses

• Identify potential issues and steps to mitigate the risk to avoid customer impact
• Implement actions to reduce network down time, increase availability and reliability
• Recommend actions to reduce costs

Assist in managing, tracking and reporting network costs

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure technology process and support integration

Provide technical management and direction for network projects

Assist in defining direction for future network technology and services

Identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of data & voice communications hardware, software, applications & services
• Extensive practical knowledge of all layers of the OSI network model
• Applied expert knowledge of WAN, LAN, firewall and voice technologies and standards
• Experience working with managed service partners
• Experience in designing, planning, and implementing small and large-scale network solutions
• Project planning and management skills, including ability to identify and assess risk
• Must have good verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks or escalations simultaneously
• Strong customer focus and results orientation
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
• Self-motivated, highly ethical individual

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and support
• 2+ years as a lead or management role
• Experience with Aruba, SilverPeak, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5 products
• Experience with SIP voice, MS Teams voice, Avaya products
• CCNP or equivalent years of progressive experience
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary: $51.00 per hour
