Network Field Technician
(Only for US Citizens on W2)
Job Description
- "6-7 Years experience in Operating and maintaining central office power plant, including control panel, rectifier, battery, converter/inverter plant and emergency ac alternator plant.
- Perform annual power systems review, remote alarm verification, ac power simulation tests, dc plant battery discharge tests.
- Conduct quality evaluations of contractors’ equipment installations.
- Test, diagnose, analyze troubles and isolate them within the network on T-1 thru OC-192 and gig Ethernet circuits. This may involve directing trouble investigations with other AT&T offices, other telephone companies, and/or customers.
- Perform routine maintenance including inspecting, cleaning and testing equipment and systems, including emergency generators.
- Provision circuits from T-1 thru gig Ethernet.
- Maintain fiber cable route.
- Assist cable engineer and sales with technical inquiries."
