Network Administrator
Thriving national company is in need of a Network Administrator to enhance the capabilities of their IT Department to support users at all locations while enhancing their network and system administration functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain LAN across US sites including VLANSs, routing, STP, static routes, structured cabling and punching down network lines.
- Create and Maintain network and infrastructure documentation and diagrams.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points. (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Troubleshoot WAN, LAN, WiFi and VPN issues
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Identify computer or network equipment requirements, prepare quotes for approval and place orders.
- Assist VM/Linux and NAS support
- WAN/LAN security
- Assist in Client-side help desk support.
- Asset tracking and inventory control
- Assist IT Department in other areas as necessary
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent, CCNA, Network+, PCNSA would be helpful.
- 3+ years experience in Network Administration as outlined above.
