Full Compass Systems is expanding its National Sales Representative team. Headquartered in Madison, WI we’re looking for the best-of-the-best sales professionals who will be responsible for managing and growing an assigned customer account base, selling a wide variety of professional audio, video, and lighting products. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the Pro Audio/Video and Lighting industry and love helping others who use this gear and technology for their own use or businesses. You must be able to build trust, establish rapport and offer knowledgeable advice for prospects, ensuring they lead to future sales and a long-term relationship. This position is for self-starters who exhibit high levels of productivity and organization, possessing the ability and drive to achieve assigned monthly KPIs and Quotas. Must have adequate infrastructure in your home office to seamlessly support our customers.

This role requires previous sales experience and a thorough and solid understanding of the Pro AV industry and industrial accounts. Experience using Sales Force, or another CRM system preferred. Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as strong negotiation skills.

For the right candidate, this position may be based out of the State of Wisconsin as a remote position.

Position Summary
The National Sales Representative works as an ambassador for Full Compass and is responsible for managing and growing an assigned customer account base, selling a wide variety of professional audio, video, and lighting products. This person must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales. A National Sales Rep must be a self-starter, exhibiting and self-managing high levels of productivity and organization, achieving assigned KPIs and Quota numbers. This position is a hybrid work position but may be remotely located for the right candidate. Associates are responsible for having adequate infrastructure in a home office to seamlessly support the Full Compass customer from an off-campus location.

Essential Job Functions
  • Identifies and develops strong B2B relationships with key stakeholders at existing accounts, prospects for opportunities within account base at a high rate of effectiveness
  • Identifies Customer’s purchasing processes and procedures involved with the procurement of Full Compass’ product offering to ensure a seamless sales process
  • Excellent ability to handle objections and cross sell comparative product
  • Solid capability to answer medium level technical questions
  • Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing and lead generation processes
  • Increases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checking customer’s buying history
  • Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine reason for loss of order
  • Reviews open customer order reports and acts on open items; specifically, those items that may be at risk in meeting the customer’s promised delivery date
  • Meets and exceeds performance measurements based on volume goals, profitability, and efficiency objectives. Offers value-added services to our B2B customers.
  • Work closely, and communicate effectively, with internal sales support departments and Sales Management
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Educates customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions for technology trends to meet customer’s evolving needs
  • Attends vendor trainings and new product launch webinars; maintains Full Compass’ minimum required technical competency levels across product categories through internal testing and trainings

Education and Experience
  • 4 Year Degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Previous Sales Experience preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system p
  • Experience with the Pro Audio, Video, and Lighting Industry preferred.
  • Understands the challenges faced by our business partners in their market today

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment with minimal, if any, travel outside of the office. Requires the ability to sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; use of standard office equipment, including a computer, telephone, copier, and printer.
