AECOM is seeking a new leader for its national movable bridge practice. This individual will act as a seller/doer for freight rail, light rail and highway bridge movable structures, supporting the continued grow of this already well-established practice.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Working with existing and potential clients to identify potential projects
• Participation in teaming and go/no-go decisions for potential projects
• Leading technical project concept development and participation in pursuit phase to successfully win the project
• After winning, may include leading the team to execute the project, either in the role of project manager or movable bridge expert
• Expected to have involvement in multiple projects, usually which are in various phases
• May include travel as-needed to support project needs
• Location is flexible, but should coincide with a major AECOM bridge office. Candidate will be expected to work independently, but also to draw support from their local office and other AECOM resources.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or related Engineering and 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility and experience related to movable structures or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Technical background with working knowledge of movable bridge structural, mechanical and electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in client relations and project pursuits
• Experience with managing project teams to deliver movable bridge inspection, rehabilitation and new design projects
• Involvement on national technical committees
• Design Build and/or CMGC Delivery experience
