A well-known client of mine in the Union County area is looking to hire a National Logistics Assistant for their company. The ideal candidate will be responsible of the following:

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch multiple tractor trailers following the schedule
• Coordinate deliveries, schedule pick-ups, and adjust routes as necessary.
• Assign loads to drivers
• Generate and update various reports
• Trace and track all loads
• Communicate any delivery issues via email, fax, and phone

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in dispatching
• Strong knowledge of LTL routing preferred
• Freight negotiating (* big plus)*
• Knowledge with load boards (plus)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word and Outlook) preferred
• Experience with Roadnet and routing is strongly preferred

Pay: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour
