Overview:
American Residential Services, a national leader in the home services industry, is seeking a National Account Manager for Lowes. This person will be directly responsible for developing/cultivating the business relationship while coordinating sales activities in the field to drive HVAC & Plumbing service offerings in various markets. The position will be in Charlotte, NC to be in close proximity to the local sales office and Lowe’s Corporate headquarters both located in Mooresville, NC.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Lowe’s install merchants to develop, plan and execute strategic sales and promotional plans
  • Direct field marketing team to facilitate service value proposition and product mix training
  • Exhibit best-in-class communication skills while managing multiple projects and quickly responding to customers’ needs.
  • Closely monitor and analyze forecasts and results to identify trends and build strategies for growth with full understanding of the impact of sales decisions.
  • Partner with ARS team members from field and Corporate departments such as operations, customer care, finance, marketing, and quality assurance to ensure strategies are in alignment to service both the customer and Lowes partnership
  • Collaborate with the Lowes team to implement brand awareness campaigns to accelerate sales pipeline including marketing, product/service knowledge sessions, promotional campaigns, events, etc
  • Support line review efforts through activities such as presentation development, assortment planning and marketing proposals
  • Analyze key performance and productivity metrics to understand the business, identify opportunities and/or address business challenges
  • Perform regular analysis of sales accounts utilizing PowerBI
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, communications or marketing is required, or equivalent.
  • Must have 5 to 7 years of related sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and success managing at the C-level
  • Outstanding persuasion, negotiation, written communication and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent business planning, forecasting and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to travel to branch locations and meetings as appropriate
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications is required
  • Sound judgment and a high level of integrity with the ability to address sensitive and confidential information and make good decisions under pressure
  • Results-oriented, accurate, with keen attention to detail
  • Analytical; with the ability to give, receive and interpret information to determine the root problem and bring issues to a successful conclusion
  • Organized and flexible with the ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines, often with interruptions, changing circumstances, in a fast-paced work environment
