Nanny/Household Manager Position (live-out)

Are you looking for a low-key, laid back, sweet family to work with? This is the family for you!

Location: Fairfield, CT

Children: 2, 4, and 6. Perfectly healthy and no behavioral issues. They love to play and are in school/daycare most days.

Pets: One small, sweet pup, doesn’t shed.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm (Friday’s off! Nanny has the option of working Fridays if she wants more hours)

Pay: $34-38ph+ depending on experience, education, etc.

Duties: The nanny will get the kiddos ready in the morning (dressed, breakfast, etc) and shuttle them off to school and daycare. Afterwards, the nanny will come back to the house and do household duties like grocery shopping, managing pantry list, running the laundry, letting the dog out, some organizing as she sees fit, etc. When the children get out of school/daycare in the afternoons, they nanny will take them to their after school activities then come home for dinner.

They are looking for a nanny who loves to cook and wants to be an extension of the family, like another parent in the home. A no-drama type person who has a sweet disposition and loves kids. Someone who is organized and can help remind the parents when they have meetings and keep an eye on the shared calendar would be very helpful! The family has a modest home with a fenced-in back yard and a nice walkable neighborhood. The nanny would also help with other duties like taking the vehicles for oil changes or calling maintenance people to handle repairs, so nanny should be fully comfortable driving. They are looking for a true household manager/nanny personality (loving, organized, doesn’t need hand holding) but the nanny doesn’t need to have many years of experience - we’re just looking for the right fit!

If the nanny doesn’t own a vehicle that can transport 3 children, this family can provide a nanny vehicle. If the nanny uses her vehicle, family will provide a vehicle stipend. They have housecleaners that come every week that the nanny would coordinate with (nanny does NOT do housecleaning).

Start Date: ASAP or whenever the nanny is available to start. Looking for a nanny for the longterm!
