Job description-The MRI technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and creating scans as per the physicians' directions, screening patients and explaining procedures to them, and inspecting and troubleshooting equipment.

Responsibilities-

• Analyzing patient histories and completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries where metal objects were involved.
• Preparing and administering contrast dyes.
• Addressing patients’ concerns and ensuring that they are comfortable and calm during scans.

Requirements-

• 1 Year of Peds CARDIAC MRI Experience (rated 3 or 4 on Cardiac MRI Experience and knowledge)
• ARRT (RT)(MR) or ARMRIT Certification
• Approved MRI licensing
• 2 + years Pediatric cardiac MRI experience preferred
• H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
• BLS for Health Providers (AHA)
• Associate's Degree preferred

CA state licensure is NOT required – only national certification

MRI Machinery used:
GE Discover 450 on SV 25x and a Siemens Magnetom Sola on XA31.

Patients under Anest:
60% of our patient population is under anesthesia.

Hours of MRI operation are 0630-1700, 1230-2300, 2230-0700
Shift: M - F 5 x 8 0630-1500 - No On-Call Requirements

**COVID vaccination required** no exceptions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85.00 per hour
