Job Opportunity: Advance-Level Household Goods Moving Sales Associate

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients seeking moving services.

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on the best moving options based on their specific needs and requirements.

Conduct in-depth consultations to assess clients' moving needs, inventory, and any special considerations.

Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed moving plans, including timelines and logistics. Invoice customers and request payments.

Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of the moving process, coordinating all necessary resources.

Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the moving process, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Moving Consultant or in a related role within the moving industry.

· In-depth knowledge of different moving services, including residential, commercial, and long-distance moves.

· Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, long distance moving, local moving, packing services, and pricing.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

· Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and handle client inquiries and concerns.

· Proficiency in using computer applications and software for preparing estimates and managing client information.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently, yet also collaborate effectively within a team environment.

· Great telephone etiquette. A positive attitude and an uplifting personality is a must.

· Tech savvy. Keyboard typing skills. If you don’t know how to typewrite this job isn’t for you. You know how to use a CRM. Email customers and text message them using our software system and protocols.

Compensation:

This is a part-time or full-time position with an hourly rate plus commission. The hourly rate will be based on experience and qualifications. The commission structure will reward you for successfully closing deals and exceeding performance targets. You have the option to work from home. Hours are between 8am-8pm PST Monday through Sunday. If you lack proficiency in technology, this position may not align well with your skillset.
