You’ll handle the entire loan process, from structuring the loan of new leads to submitting the file and getting loans to closing. Responsibilities will include speaking to customers, running credit and preapproving, thoroughly compiling information, responding to questions from applicants and underwriters, and resolving last-minute issues so mortgage applications are filed in a timely manner. This will be a hybrid role of loan partner/loan processor until production picks up.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval
  • Obtain all necessary property and loan documentation for every file, including evidence of insurance, verification of employment, payoffs, credit supplements, tax transcripts, condo questionnaires, title work, and subordination requests and to make sure the loan process goes smoothly
  • Manage a loan pipeline and maintain an efficient and compliant flow through the loan process
  • Update loan documentation in our system on a regular basis to ensure we have detailed records of the entire loan process
  • Follow up on loan documentation ordered in a timely manner to ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met

  • Orchestrate the completion of loan applications, coordinate the collection of documentation including credit reports, run DU/LP/AUS, prepare the file for processing, and send a closing cost worksheet to borrowers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and borrowers to retain existing clients and attract new business


Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Know how to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as general ways to structure a loan
  • Current or previous experience as a Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, Loan Officer, and/or Underwriter
  • Experience working in a lender’s environment and using Encompass LOS

  • The ability to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as an understanding of general ways to structure a loan
  • At least 2 years of previous experience fulfilling the roles of an LOA/Loan Partner, Processor, Loan Officer and/or Underwriter, 5+ years preferred
  • Current NMLS license or able to get licensed before starting
