Genuine Ice Cream is a Bozeman, Montana based small-batch, hand-made, ice creamery that draws inspiration from the Montana lifestyle. We are hiring for a Mobile Events Manager to bring the Genuine experience to farmer’s markets, festivals, and more in the Bozeman area.

The Catering & Events Manager is an organized, independent, hard-working individual with a passion for ice cream and people. This is a full-time (32-35 hours per week) position for the Summer of 2023 that includes managing a small team and ensuring success for all mobile event operations. The Catering & Events Manager will lead setup and take-down of events, handle cash flow, and ensure safe food handling practices are followed at all times. This position is great for an individual who is interested in running a small business, event planning/coordination, or the hospitality industry. The Catering & Events Manager will consistently work festivals, recurring farmer’s markets, and weddings that will take place in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Managing a small team of event employees.
• Handling cash deposits, tips, mileage compensation, and petty cash for mobile events.
• Running all mobile events including stocking vehicles, driving, set-up, managing employees, leading take-down, and closing procedures at the end of the event.
• Ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times by event staff.
• Providing excellent customer service and upholding Genuine’s standards and values.
• Obtaining event information from event directors and adhering to all event protocols.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:

• Are highly organized with fine attention to detail.
• Are excellent at communicating with coworkers and customers.
• Hold a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and can comfortably drive a small cargo van.
• Are available to work June 1 - September 15 and can adhere to the events schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
