Job Description


Position Responsibilities:

  • Endotoxin and bioburden testing
  • Technical oversight of Microbiology quality control assays
  • Sterility, Micro Limit Testing, Growth Promotion and other various microbiology assay testing
  • General lab duties (cleaning, stocking, cold room 5S, etc.)
  • Technical writing
  • Deviation management
  • Qualification and Validation studies
  • Providing analytical change management support for Microbiology testing labs
  • Ensuring compliance in the laboratory in accordance with cGMPs, and GLPs, regulation, and policies/procedures
  • Coordination of all analytical change for Microbiology testing labs
  • Coordinate change control for analytical changes
  • Support key commitments for analytical change within Laboratory Operations aimed at elevating the compliance, assay robustness, and performance of the laboratories within their responsibility

Qualifications
  • Project Management, Change Execution Management and Team Leadership experience in a Quality function
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of general laboratory skills and techniques
  • Demonstrated self-starter with capability to develop innovative solutions to challenges
  • Excellent communication skills- with oral and written
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies (GMP knowledge a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Microbiology lab experience preferable
  • Basic Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in science or other related degree concentration
  • 3+ years related experience
  • Standard microbiological methods and aseptic laboratory technique experience
  • Knowledge of cGMP preferred
  • Experience with LIMS and Electronic laboratory notebooks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team-oriented setting
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

This position is Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
