Milton High School seeks a dynamic educator who will serve as the MHS Health/Physical Education Teacher. The candidate will be a strong advocate for students and understand the relationship between social/emotional health and wellness. The candidate will be able to work effectively with the MHS administration and teaching staff in regard to student health and engagement.Candidates must have one or more years of experience and be knowledgeable in effective instructional strategies with students regarding student engagement. The candidates must be able to work with students on gaining academic knowledge on emotional, social, and physical health and well-being.Position Responsibilities 1.Teach Physical Education half-time/health half time2.Share current research regarding instruction on social, emotional, and physical health3.Communicate effectively with all stakeholders as applicable.4.Implement district policies; follow school practices/procedures.5.Assume supervisory responsibilities as assigned.6.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.7.Model professional behavior at all times.8.Collaborate with other school and district staff members to achieve the districts vision of learning.9.Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the building principal or designee.
