About the Role

Kard is hiring a rockstar Merchant Account Manager to own and nurture our merchant relationships. This role is integral to Kard's success, so it's a huge growth opportunity with a lot of responsibility. For the right person, this role will morph over time as we build a scalable and efficient team centered on merchant success and campaign renewal.

Responsibility:

  • Owning the client relationships with our Top 300 merchants - you'll be their go-to person for everyday needs as well as for strategy and planning
  • Building a deep familiarity with the client's business, strategies, goals, and challenges
  • Contributing to merchant growth by securing campaign renewals and upsells on existing merchant relationships
  • Bringing the merchant perspective to our product roadmap
  • Comprehensive monthly reporting that keeps everything running smoothly - nothing happens without you knowing it
  • Building out and/or improving our onboarding processes at the merchant and campaign level
  • Adhoc analytics requests - you know how to throw together charts and pull out interesting data insights

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years managing client relationships and running all aspects of the process
  • Client-first mindset - you're proactive in doing what it takes to deliver the best possible experience to our accounts
  • Consistent track record of growing accounts by developing a strong relationship with clients and understanding their goals
  • Analytical chops - you know your way around Excel, pivot tables, and campaign measurement KPIs
  • An intense desire to be an early employee - you want to build something from scratch and don't need hand-holding

Bonus Points:

  • Early stage startup experience
  • Interest or previous experience in adtech

Base salary range is $80-100k, depending on experience
