The Merchandise Manager is reponsible for the success and viability of the golf shop. The Merchandise Manager plans, purchases, coordinates, merchandises inventory of golf apparel and accessories offered for sale. The Merchandise Manager is responsible for tracking, documenting, managing, and promoting golf product sales. Handles inventory control. Maximizes sales and profitability through the development and implementation of strategies, analysis and appropriate reaction to sales trends.

This is a year round, full time position.

A minimum of three years' experience in a managerial position preferred. A background in business, marketing, communications is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be creative and detail-oriented. Retail experience required. Golf experience preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills, and must be highly organized. Must be able to conceptualize merchandising and sales strategies, communicate strategies and develop product that supports the Club.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
