Positive Behavioral Solutions is a community-based Mental Health Agency that services Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard, Volusia, Clay, Duval, and St. John County. Positive Behavioral Solutions is a trauma-informed agency and specializes and serves the Adoption and Foster Care population.

Our therapists provide mental health and behavioral services to clients in the Central Florida area. Our specialty is working with K-12 at-risk youth, but we also provide services to some adults as well. We currently have positions open in Volusia County. Clients must be seen in Volusia County (e.g., Deltona, Deland, Orange City, Port Orange). Our therapist can work remotely from home, in our Satellite office space in Melbourne, and travel to client's homes and schools or in their designated preferred area.

Therapy is provided in person, however there is an ability to provide services via teletherapy in response to Covid-19 when deemed appropriate. This is not solely a telehealth position. This is a face to face position in the Office, home, school, and/or community settings.

This position is “Fee-for-Service”, Independently Contracted. Applicant must have dependable transportation, good communication skills, and be able to carry a 10-client case load minimum.

Position Requirements:

• We are currently hiring Mental Health Therapists comfortable with providing services in community settings, face to face (Home/School/Community).
• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology
• Must meet one of the following: Eligible for Licensure through the State of Florida's 491 Board, Registered with the State of Florida's 491 Board as a Clinical Intern, OR Licensed as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Must be able to provide counseling at home, school, or office.
• Must be flexible, independent, and goal-oriented with clients.
• Must attend monthly and quarterly supervision meetings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor Position
• Mental Health Therapists are responsible for working directly with clients and families, providing individual and family sessions.
• Schedules and sets own appointments in a timely manner.
• Establish rapport/gain trust with assigned clients or families.
• Meets weekly documentation deadlines.
• Must be willing to collaborate with other organizations and healthcare providers for treatment purposes.
• Communicates effectively with the administration team.
