Mental Health Counselor - Per Diem (LCSW LMHC LMFT)
Summary:
Goodman Jewish Family Services has been providing compassionate, high quality, confidential counseling since 1962. Our team of clinicians provide counseling services for individuals, couples and families, regardless of race, religion, culture or sexual orientation.
Building upon our 57+ year history of serving the behavioral health needs of Broward County’s ever expanding population, Behavioral Health Associates of Broward, Counseling Centers of Goodman Jewish Family Services (BHAB), offers comprehensive psychotherapy services. Our clinicians each have specialized areas of expertise and decades of combined experience.
We are looking to add clinicians to our team, who are passionate about the work they do. With a focus on person centered trauma informed care, we are looking for clinicians experienced in working with clients struggling with trauma.
Although being bilingual is a plus, it is not a requirement.
CEU's are provided throughout the year, in additional to more personalized supervision and specialized trainings. If you are looking to join a team of seasoned clinicians and fun professionals, you are in the right place.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
- Treatment and discharge planning
- Provide evidenced-based individual, group, couples, and family interventions
- Maintain accurate client records in an electronic health record database and complete paperwork in a timely manner
- Participate in weekly clinical staff meetings
- Conduct risk assessments and follow-up as necessary
- Communicate with family when appropriate
- Maintain your schedule and availability
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lincensed LCSW, LMHC, LMFT with 2+ years of experience in similar role.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Training and experience in providing trauma-informed care
- Experience in working with diverse populations
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in social work providing counseling services
- Must be compliant with the mandatory laws and ethics of state licensure at the Master’s level
- Spanish and Russian bilingual a plus
- Enrollment on insurance panels is a plus, but not a requirement
- Use of Zoom, excel, word, and experienced with documenting in EHRs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must reside in the state of Florida when providing services
- Maintain active licensure status
- Maintain active liability insurance
- Minimum 10 Hours/week available
