Registered Nurse - Integrated Health Services

Our Registered Nurses are active members of an integrated treatment team across all programs and services within the organization. They collaborate with clients to understand their goals and needs in order to tailor individualized plans that are preventative and restorative in nature. We are searching for a Registered Nurse to join our nursing team!

Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time Days/Evenings, no overnights

Willing to discuss flexible days, FTE and start time per applicant preference

Locations: Minneapolis, Saint Paul, surrounding suburbs

Hiring Range: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour

Additional compensation for mental health experience

Required Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota
  • Excellent driving record, reliable car, and current auto insurance
  • And meet one of the conditions below
    • High school diploma
    • 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness, DD, ID or TBI
    OR
    • Has completed 30 semester credits or 45 quarter credits in behavioral science or a related field and:
      • Has proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; OR
      • Has 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness, DD, ID or TBI
    OR
    • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field
    • Proof of a practicum or internship requiring direct interaction with adults and focusing on behavioral sciences or related fields
Main Job Duties
  • Providing high quality, skilled, whole-health services within a rehabilitative and therapeutic model of care
  • Actively engaging with clients, developing positive relationships that support the client in meeting their goals
  • Acting as a collaborative team member to any program within the organization, leading and addressing comprehensive health promotion
  • Facilitating preventative and restorative health and well-being education in individual, group and community settings
  • Using experiential learning as an intervention to support recovery
  • Acting as a liaison between the client and external care providers for whole health needs
  • Providing information and/or referrals to resources in the community for increased support and stabilization
  • Offering coaching on medication management
  • Documenting observable behaviors and symptoms

Service areas:

  • IRTS- Intensive Residential Treatment Services- Up to 90 day stay to focus on illness management and recovery related to mental health and substance use.
  • Crisis: Stabilization for mental health and substance use up to 10days
  • Intermediate Care facility: Increasing independence while stabilizing mental health through community services.
  • Assisted Living: Encouraging and maintaining residence's engagement in with their mental and physical health
