Hegira Health is one of southeast Michigan’s largest and most comprehensive non-profit behavioral health treatment agencies with locations in the western and downriver communities of Wayne County. We provide a broad array of mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to individuals of all ages.

We are looking for Therapists to join our team providing excellent services to infants through geriatrics. Here are the some of the details and options regarding the Therapist opportunities:

WHO: New Graduates, Seasoned Therapists, Limited Licensed, Full Licensed

WHAT: *Crisis*Substance Use*SMI*IDD*Intake*Community Intervention*Infant and Early Childhood Development*Children's Oupatient*Children's Home Based*School Based

WHERE: Canton, Lincoln Park, Westland, Taylor, Livonia

WHEN: Hybrid work schedules (in office 3 days/2 days remote), Weekend/Overnight/Evening Work (Crisis), in Office - varies by position

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, specializing in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field
• Current, appropriate licensure/certification issued by the State of Michigan
• Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostics, psychopharmacology, and supportive treatment approaches as applied to child/adolescent population

GENERAL SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete assigned intake/ comprehensive integrated bio-psychosocial assessment
• Formulate preliminary ICD-10 diagnosis.
• Identify issues that may exist regarding safety (personal and environmental), natural supports, and community involvement
• Identify referrals needed for comprehensive treatment, including medical, nutrition, education, and vocational training
• Report to all referral sources as needed
• Identify Case Management, and/or Psychiatry needs and complete referral within timeframes
• Complete necessary screening tools
• Establish effective therapeutic bonds with patients assigned to caseload
• Demonstrate ongoing engagement efforts with difficult to engage patients
• Complete progress notes for all treatment services

Pay is based on years of experience. Additonal compensation for full license, CAADC and Home Based Children's Work.
