Primary responsibilities involve the testing of body fluids and other specimen samples submitted to the Laboratory for analysis.
Essential Requirements: Bachelor of Science that meets the academic requirements of the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or fulfills the academic and experience components specified by recognized accrediting agencies and is certified or must be certified within one year of hire by either AMT, ISC LT, HHS, or NC A in the Laboratory Technologist category (MT, C LT, CLS, MLS). Basic computer literacy and experience with laboratory information systems are preferred. Must demonstrate good patient manner and possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients.
