Pediatric Advanced Therapy, the largest pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in the Carolinas, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Huntersville, NC clinic located at 16415 Northcross Drive Huntersville, NC 28078. The medical receptionist works at our front desk and is the primary point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will be organized, friendly and able to multi-task in a busy environment.

Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients arriving for appointments
• Collecting copays and payments toward patient accounts
• Answer phones and route incoming calls appropriately
• Answer questions at front desk and route patients to appropriate employee as needed
• Create notes in the call log regarding communication with patients
• Check and respond to office voicemails
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments
• Insurance verification
• Straighten lobby throughout the day
• Print and prepare patients record requests
• Fill out school excuse notes for patients
• Maintain front desk printer and fax machine
• Unlock/lock building at beginning or end of day, depending on your shift

Medical Receptionist Job Ideal Candidate:

• 1-2 years of receptionist experience, medical environment preferred
• Enjoys working with children and families and is sensitive to the needs of special needs children

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
