A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST
In this role, you have the important job of ensuring our patients' billing is processed promptly and accurately. You bill all of our specialty, CPT (current procedural terminology), and HIPPA codes. You also handle authorizations and appeals with various insurance companies.
Well-versed in specialty and sub-specialty billing, you always get the job done accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail serves you well as you correct any errors you see. You love the autonomy of this job, and you feel great knowing that your efforts help keep our patients financially up-to-date!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST
- Experience with billing CPT codes and G codes
Are you a self-starter? Can you work independently with little supervision? Do you have excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail? Are you reliable and efficient? If yes, you might just be perfect for this accounts receivable position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday with a fairly flexible schedule. You can come in and leave a little earlier or later than the standard 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
