DR Billing Services, LLC is seeking a Billing Manager with out of network experience.

This candidate is responsible for leading and planning the billing department as well as managing an account. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures. This position requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan and direct the department. A working manger is expected.

The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire billing/claim entry process and the team members that work them. He/She is responsible managing the claims entry processes, appeals and workflows and communicating clearly and effectively with clients, team members, and coworkers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients to answer all questions, inquiries, and messages in a timely manner.
  • Meet or communicate on a regular basis with team members and management.
  • Create monthly reports.
  • Management of the team members assigned to client accounts.
  • Oversee the entire billing process to ensure all tasks are completed timely and accurately.
  • Communicate with either the client or team any needs, concerns, common denials, coding corrections, etc.
  • Create a positive team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Set clear goals for team members.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Discover training needs and provide training and coaching.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA degree and AMBA, CPB, CMRS, CPC preferred.
  • At least 5 years of previous experience with medical billing. This is a working manager position and hands on experience is required for this position.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology: ICD-10, and CPT codes, as well as deductibles, co-insurances and co-pays, ability to interpret an EOB.
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to organize work and perform duties with a high level of accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills; Data entry and Microsoft Excel, and medical management software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret.

Supervisory responsibility: 5+ Years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
