For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants:
0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Mid Coast Medical Group - Mid Coast Medical Group–Wound & Ostomy Care | Ostomy Specialists in Brunswick (midcoasthealth.com) has an immediate need for a full time (32 hours per week) Medical Assistant to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will function as a team member of the Mid-Coast Medical Group and will facilitate the goals of this office which are:
- To deliver quality patient care which includes maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
- To present a positive and respectful attitude to the patient and community for Mid-Coast Medical Group and Mid-Coast Hospital.
- To operate efficiently and ensure prudent use of resources.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program (medication administration must be component of the program). Associate or Applied Science degree preferred.
- License/Certifications: Certified AAMA Medical Assistant certification required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Or receive Medical Assistant certification within one (1) year of hire date. Maintain certification including recertification every five (5) years (as required by the American Associate of Medical Assistants [AAMA]).
