This busy pediatric office is looking for a Medical Assistant/ Front desk person with EMR experience. Strong organizational skills required. A positive attitude and a team outlook is critical. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills a must. Ability to tackle busy multi-line phones. This Front Desk candidate must be reliable, punctual, and detail oriented. This candidate should be able to problem solve and take initiative as necessary.

• The Medical Assistant tasks will include giving support to our medical staff. Experience with pediatrics, medical offices protocol and procedures are desirable. Ability to communicate with patients and medical staff is crucial.
• Front desk duties include greeting patients with a friendly smile, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, verifying demographics, asking for and collecting patient's payments, checking patient's insurance eligibility, and processing referrals to specialists.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
