The Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center of North Carolina is hiring a medical assistant/nurse for our office in Kernersville, NC.

Primary roles/responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Greeting patients

- Following up with patients via phone regarding management plans, lab work, etc.

- Taking full medical history & updating patient medical records

- Preparing room for patients

- Preparing patients for medical examination

- Assisting practitioner with examinations, surgeries, etc.

- Other duties as assigned.

A degree and experience is preferred but not required. A competitive candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn on the job and a willingness to assist where needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with patients from a variety of backgrounds is a must.

The Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center of North Carolina provides our patients the best in clinical, surgical and general dermatology. We provide expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, including state-of-the-art procedures such as Mohs Surgery. We are also top-notch at every facet of general dermatology (e.g. acne - including Accutane therapy, rashes, eczema, psoriasis - including biologic therapies, warts, moles and infections). We currently have 5 locations throughout North Carolina.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
