Job description
Medical Assistant for a busy, fast paced Cardiology Practice. Cardiology and E-Clinical Works knowledge/experience is preferred. Job duties include: Rooming Patients, Vital Signs, EKG’s, Data Entry for ECW, Documenting patient histories, Obtaining Medical Records prior to patients visit, Placement of Holter/Event Monitors, Electronically sending of prescriptions, Obtaining Prior Authorization for Medications and other duties as assigned. Travel to Macon and Eastman is required. Positive Attitude, Outgoing Personality along with Solid Work Ethic, and reliable transportation are required. Teamwork is critical due to the fast pace of our office. Scrubs are required. Office hours are 8:00-5:00 on Mondays, 8:30-5:00 Tuesday-Thursday and 8:00-1:00 on Fridays.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
