Job description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant for our Pell City and Trussville offices for our Diagnostic team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Birmingham Heart Clinic, P.C. strongly prefers that candidates have previous Cardiology Clinic or Diagnostic experience, good critical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally with physicians, patients, co-workers, and management.
TRAITS & SKILLS:
- Must be self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform a variety of duties.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers in a manner which creates a sense of teamwork, but also be able to work independently.
- Comply with the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Cardiology Preferred
- Experience with EKGs
- 2 to 3 Years Medical Assistant Experience Required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
