Job description
Busy medical practice in need of experienced medical assistant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling appointments, retrieving and returning messages, prescription refills, filing test results and correspondence, retrieving faxes, pulling and preparing medical charts for upcoming dates, and photocopying medical records.
Candidate must be able to work independently, take direction, and have flexibility with duties. Will also bring patients back, record and assist with vitals, medication reconciliation, prescription renewal, pre-certs, prior auths. Must also comply with HIPAA privacy regulations. Medical office experience required. Please respond with resume and hourly rate requirements. No phone calls.
