Job DescriptionDCS Corp is looking for a skilled Technician/Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery, UTVs, ATVs and Military vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of equipment, engines, electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate must be a self-driven, self-starter, who is reliable and willing to work closely with a group of Managers, Engineers and Technicians.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs diagnosis, repair and/or replacement of parts on vehicles and equipment as directed to include, diesel, gasoline, transmissions, axles, rear ends, suspension systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and brake systems.
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and services.
Updates and maintains service/repair records.
Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical accessories.
Maintains tools and equipment.
Ensures all work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
Produce accurate work and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance.
Knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment.
Knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
20% travel anticipated.
HS diploma with Seven years of experience.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of UTV/ATV engines and systems.
Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics.
CDL.
