GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Team members are responsible for working in a safe manner that complies with all HACCP, USDA, and company policies. Responsibilities may include trimming, portioning, grinding, and packaging meat products to company standards.

This is a full-time position and while the general schedule is 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, flexibility in schedule is sometimes required to meet the demands of the company.

Duties include and are not limited to:

Production:

• Prepare products for production – unbox, open, etc.
• Trim products to developed specifications
• Produce ground meats in accordance with developed specifications
• Maintain proper documentation for produced items
• Package meat products in accordance with developed specifications

General:

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work with other team members to achieve organizational goals
• Identify out of conformance products and report to Supervisor or Quality Assurance
• Report any unsafe working conditions to Supervisor or Quality Assurance
• Completing additional tasks as needed which not described in this task description

EXPERIENCE

Basic understanding of food safety systems, can work in a refrigerated environment, able to safely and correctly use a knife for butchering, able to work as a part of a team, desire to learn and grow. Ability to consistently follow up on tasks and follow both written and verbal instructions is required.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
