Responsibilities include:

• Understand Inventory Management software and know how to interpret on-hand balances, open orders, partially received orders etc. for stocked items.

• Be able to interpret typical order information related to Shipping and receiving activities in a manufacturing environment including the interface between orders such as BOL documents, Purchase orders, Manufacturing orders, Distribution orders, RMA notices, UPS/FEDEX tracking systems, Generic SKU numbers etc.

• Possess knowledge of FIFO queueing methodology and apply this philosophy to daily tasks such as receiving shipments, staging material for manufacturing, conducting cycle counts.

• Acquire and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company.

• Transport product to and from local vendors using company car.

• Prepare raw materials for production via saw operation.

• Maintain Material staging areas through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a perpetual basis.

• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as vital, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.

Your profile:

You must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have a valid drivers' license. Requires moderate physical activity lifting up to 50 lbs. max 12 times per day and staging small parcels of product (screws/nuts/bolts) repetitively. This is an hourly role with a pay range between $16 - $23 based on experience.
