We’re looking for an amazing Email Marketing Specialist to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for building out Seabourn’s consumer lifecycle email program assets in support of guest loyalty and retention. This role contributes to strategy and content creation and owns email production and the execution of lifecycle email program assets. The person in this role will apply their email marketing expertise, skillset and understanding of HTML and CSS to ensure brand visual quality, accuracy, delivery, and innovation of e-communications. Additionally, this role produces occasional sales collateral in support of the stakeholders within the Marketing/Sales and Guest Services Divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Employs and ensures electronic best practices and applies a high-level of creativity in the design and production of e-communications, specifically HTML emails, email journeys, e-newsletters and other communications as needed
  • Coordinates with marketing teams for scheduling, prioritization, and trafficking of proofs to internal clients; then completes revisions and finalizes execution of assigned projects on deadline and on strategy
  • Prepares all email assets (graphics and written content) according to brand style and legal guidelines, and proofs for quality assurance
  • Collaborates on strategic initiatives, presenting solutions and innovative ideas in the ongoing development of e-marketing programs
  • Responsible for other tactical communication projects, as directed by the manager
  • Coordinate with multiple teams from Marketing teams, Pre-Cruise Revenue team, Creative Services, CRM and IT to setup and execute campaigns
  • Monitor the marketplace to keep ahead on best practices and strategies of our competitors and other leading marketers


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business Development, or related analytics fields)
  • 2+ years in an Email Marketing Role
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver or Sublime Text like editor, Photoshop, plus experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with an email marketing platform (Responsys, Braze, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc)
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices
  • Experience in developing and implementing automated email campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time under short deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
  • Experience with luxury and premium products; travel brands experience a plus (preferred but not required)
  • Proven experience establishing strong collaborative relationships across varied sets of stakeholders
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Salary Range: $54,200.00 to $73,200.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
