Job Summary
Chartwell's Higher Education is seeking a Marketing Manager for potential new business at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley located in Edinburg, TX. Our Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting and implementing customized marketing plans/solutions for our dining and catering programs at a high-volume account. He or she will focus on growth strategies for growing sales, improving customer/client satisfaction, and promoting the Compass brand while generating events and activities to build an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Guides dining locations at an account in the execution of marketing promotions, voluntary meal plan campaigns, catering, and retail sales drivers;
• Ensures all dining programs on campus adhere to Compass brand standards, including brand identity, visual merchandising, and guest experience platforms;
• Directs all communications & public relations efforts for dining programs with daily management of guest feedback, press releases, client & customer presentations, & website maintenance;
• Leads social & digital media efforts with engaging storytelling;
• Develops and implements marketing plans and handles the efficiency of these plans;
• Monitors, reviews and reports on all marketing activities and results;
• Nurtures positive relationships with our clients in order to align our programs with their initiatives to drive satisfaction & retention;
• Develops marketing collateral and communications pieces, including brochures, newsletters, programming announcements, promotional guides, etc;
• And supports new business and retention efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years marketing experience, with knowledge in foodservice preferred;
• Ability to present to large groups;
• Knowledge of merchandising and promotions; and
• Excellent writing skills
