Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team in Ludington, MI.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager you will:

Manage multiple plant-focused manufacturing engineering group with specific responsibilities for planning, organization, project management, and implementation of new manufacturing processes, product line enhancements, quality improvements, and cost improvement projects, in direct support of operations.

Do you have these required qualifications?

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering

Work Experience

  • Ten years engineering experience (prefer combination of manufacturing engineering process ownership responsibilities and project engineering), including three years supervisory experience.
  • Experience must show history of project management assignments with increasing magnitude

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Masters of Business Administration, Engineering, or Manufacturing Management preferred.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems.
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required, including working knowledge of word processing and spread sheet applications.
  • Ability to climb/bend/balance in manufacturing environment with ability to lift/ move objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to travel once a month to Holland, MI (other travel as needed)
