The Omnichannel Account Manager is responsible for key account management and execution of all sales related activities for their designated accounts. This person will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to successfully drive Orgain’s business online at key accounts. Job functions include: account management across multiple customers, strategizing, budgeting, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, website traffic and product performance, amongst other things.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in online sales strategies and the various platforms used to conduct digital sales or conversions on a website. This person will be an integral part of the cross functional sales teams and work closely with the Director of Ecommerce Media and Omnichannel.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple ecommerce customer accounts: Mass and Emerging Customers

o Target, Kroger.com, Vitacost, Thrive Market, Hive, Go Puff, Door Dash

o Partner on key strategic online accounts: Walmart and Sams

  • Help develop strategic 360 plans to generate business results at key accounts: Integrates knowledge of Orgain Brand objectives, customer strategies, and consumer insights to develop customer-specific strategies and business-building programs
  • Deliver target budget plan and new product distribution goals
  • Execute our brand and category growth strategy in conjunction with the customer’s goals & objectives.
  • Partners with the retailer, field sales team, and internal cross-functional teams inclusive of media, operations, marketing, and creative to develop and deliver integrated business plans based on strong shopper insights

o This role requires frequent cross functional collaborations on a regular basis to drive business forward

  • Help identify new opportunities for growth; develop and implement strategic sales plans in accordance with corporate goals.
  • Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives and work with Director of Ecommerce Media and Omnichannel to develop operational plans to manage execution and measure results.
  • Analysis of key programs across customers that leads to data driven decisions
  • Relationship management with account cross functional areas, corporate and divisions. Ongoing meetings and access to retailer points of contact.
  • Educate our business partners on our products, retail goals, and measurement of success.
  • Help deliver customer presentations that show innovation, promotions, communicate pricing, etc.
  • Manage daily business in partnership with customers, including: UPC product/item setup, maintenance, logistics and inventory management.
  • Sell-in new products and all promotions to qualified retailers; ensure full-line distribution of products (new & existing items).
  • Responsible for working with agencies to input trade fund management, direct sales forecasting and projection activities for the company.
  • Manage Trade budget and monitor spending efficiency that focus on a strong ROI/ROAS.
  • Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency.
  • Set individual goals for improving and expanding on everyday job functions, as well as on the greater social and environmental aspects of your work. We expect that you remain accountable to these goals and report your progress in performance reviews.
  • Adhere to Orgain’s environmental policies, including our environmental purchasing and recycling policies.
  • Be an active member in enhancing Orgain’s social and environmental impact. Help us continue to evolve our commitment to the planet and the people we serve.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seasoned professional in the digital retailing market, in particular with Target, Kroger, and Walmart.
  • 1+ years of consumer product sales experience required
  • 2+ years of ecommerce experience; Walmart and Target specific experience preferred
  • Proven leader with experience both in managing multiple customers and execution of large eCommerce projects.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Financial acumen; experience managing P&L or budget
  • Willingness to dig into the data, be tactful and hands on
  • Proven success developing, executing, and maintaining sophisticated digital commerce brand strategies by leveraging internal and external partner resources, successful delivery of business value, near and mid-term growth for the brand.
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to drive and influence complex decision-making with various stakeholder groups and build consensus.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and commitment.
  • Self-Starter with a high bias for action, curiosity for learning, willingness to collaborate, accountable
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic growth-oriented business.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This is a remote position
  • May include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Some travel may be required, depending on business needs
  • Travel expected: 10%
  • Overnight travel required

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 to $106,000 per year / per hour

Final salary is commensurate upon a variety of factors, including work location, experience, skills, field of responsibility, and education credentials of the associate.
