Location: Burnsville, MN

Role Scope and Requirements:

The Manager of Soccer Operations manages the day-to-day soccer training operations of the TOCA performance center. The position is responsible for all aspects of session quality, coach recruitment, business development and training and development, under the guidance of the TOCA Training leadership team.

  • Ensure TOCA Training is operating according to the TOCA way, mission, vision and values.
  • Measure programming success; create new development programs as needed.
  • Forecast any foreseeable issues, changes or needs.
  • Oversee and evaluate operations and training for All Soccer Programming.
  • Supervise Trainers and review their performance and session quality.
  • Create opportunities for all players to train, develop and enjoy the game.
  • Work with the Manager of Soccer Operations to recruit and hire quality coaches to ensure that all players have quality leadership and training.
  • Continual education and mentorship of coaches to learn the TOCA way.
  • 40% average time spent in the studio training Players
  • Manage the TOCA Training business for the center
  • Meet budgetary and revenue goals
  • Machine/Equipment Maintenance
  • Responsible for Session KPI Management and FKO conversion rate
  • Assist LT with Scheduling & Performance Plan Management

Knowledge and Experience:

  • USSF, CSA, or UEFA licensed coach (minimum D level)
  • Have 3 years minimum experience coaching youth, collegiate or professional soccer
  • Have a basic knowledge of Individual Player Development
  • Have a strong understanding of local club, recreational and school soccer programs
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Have a college or professional playing background
  • Possess the drive to develop youth players and lead a team of trainers
  • Ability to foster and manage relationships with soccer clubs, programs, schools and partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to provide a strong presence and high visibility within the Center
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong coaching skills with a modern approach in mind
  • Passion for sports that is contagious
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Willingness to learn: An individual that is teachable, coachable, moldable, and a continuous learner
  • High-character individual that is driven by relationship-building and displays a growth mindset
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
