Summary:


Provide technical leadership, support day-to-day solution development, and lead technical implementations for Hershey’s consumer digital ecosystems. The Hershey Company’s Information Services (IS) department, partnering with our digital business teams, serves as a catalyst for driving consumer and customer engagement through experiences.


The Marketing Automation Manager will actively manage the day to day operations of CRM programs in partnership with our CRM business stakeholders (Consumer Opt-In, Consumer eCommerce, B2B eCommerce, Corporate Communications, and other teams). Our primary CRM platform is the Adobe Campaign Standard platform. This role will take operational ownership of the platform and all related capabilities and tasks. This includes CRM related Data Transfers, platform integrations, platform maintenance and enhancements, and all other related operations.


This role will be the primary operational interface for all other Hershey operational leads (e.g. Owned Web Properties, Paid Media, Search, Social, eCommerce, etc..), the Adobe Campaign Support organization, and the CRM Manager.


Major Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and direct development across Adobe Campaign Standard (ACS).
  • Collaborate with other solution managers to research and direct technical implementation for Adobe Campaign Standard.
  • Advise, implement, and develop new integrations as needed for a successful implementation for B2B marketing on Adobe Campaign.
  • KTLO, RFC and other daily support for the suite of Adobe Digital Marketing Products.
  • Research, architect, and develop future digital marketing capabilities as the business necessitates.
  • Work with multiple small teams with unique but often overlapping schedules and requirements.
  • Broad responsibility and empowerment to identify and implement technical and operational requirements of each new CRM program.
  • Candidates should have a broad and well-rounded understanding of CRM ecosystems.
  • Identify future of personalization for customer and consumer at Hershey.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:


  • Strong communication skills and with experience collaborating with business stakeholders and product managers.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise digital applications.
  • 4+ years of leading web development and/or system engineering.
  • Expert level knowledge of the Adobe ecosystem. Campaign Standard and Adobe Experience Manager expertise required.
  • Ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders into operational steps and successful outcomes.
  • Ability to create and modify technical documentation for processes.
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Strong API development skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in a variety of Data Transport and ETL processes and methodologies.
  • Technical trouble shooting capabilities (e.g., identify communication vs. authentication failures, etc.)
  • Strong administration and task management skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, including managing the work of off-shore resources.

Minimum Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other applicable degree.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred.
