SUMMARY

The Manager in Training (MIT) position will be a role that offers on the job training in preparation to be promoted rapidly into a management position. The ideal candidate will be humble and efficient; accountable and caring; trustworthy and enjoys working on a team. Upon completion of the MIT program and evaluation by management, it is possible to be offered a management position within 6-10 weeks.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists management team in daily operations which includes but is not limited to: cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring quality control for every customer, completing shift changes, assisting with minor maintenance, ensuring cleanliness of the facility, delegating tasks to team members and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Contributes to the positive team efforts of the organization. Works effectively with other departments, as needed to accomplish goals.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive employee, potential employee, and organization data without exception.
  • Use problem solving skills to find new processes that are beneficial to the company and operation
  • Performs other duties as required or requested.

KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a management or supervisor role.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Autobell requires that you keep a professional, safe, and neat appearance, including no visible tattoos in a long-sleeved uniform.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Autobell is a drug-free workplace, and all candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be willing to undergo criminal background check and a Motor Vehicle Report, in accordance with local laws/regulations.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Skills

  • Demonstrates attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal skills, and service orientation.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills to interact professionally and courteously with other managers, team members and customers.
  • Ability to count money and reconcile store finances.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling preferred
