The Manager of Finished Goods Global Servicing manages the portfolio for care and cleaning products, sundries, watch straps, etc. that relate to supporting the lifecycle of sold products. In addition, the manager participates in the oversight of servicing related SKUs such as Customize Your Ring and other programs.

The manager is responsible for implementing the category’s key initiatives. Including, analysis and reporting, life-cycle planning, pricing, and supply management to meet demand and financial goals. The Manager will work with Global Servicing leadership, business partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver priorities that include optimizing the existing portfolio, managing assortment levels, elevating the client experience, and driving productivity within the category.

The manager will develop a thorough understanding of the category’s products, the suppliers that produce them, lead times and transportations times, quality levels, etc. The manager will maintain strong, productive relationships and open communication with the category’s suppliers and with internal clients.

What You'll Do:

Category Management - Assortment Analysis

  • Perform analysis and provide recommendations for assortment changes and improvements to maximize sales and productivity and deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Propose, implement, and monitor worldwide assortments in cooperation with business partners.
  • Analyze the category, ensuring store assortments and inventory levels are optimized.
  • Develop reports and presentations, such as category trend reports, competitive analysis, that communicate the performance of the category for meetings and conferences.
  • Participate in competitive shopping visits to support key initiative information gathering and research as it pertains to the current assortment.

Category Management - Lifecycle Management

  • Activate and discontinue products as needed.
  • Conduct reviews and create analysis to validate and provide direction for T-Flags, E-Flags and Obsolescence management.
  • Establish strategies for managing overstock and aged inventory.
  • Manage resolution of any pricing errors or discrepancies in the category.
  • Manage accurate day to day maintenance of the category.

Category Management - Commercial

  • Periodically complete margin reviews to validate pricing sales volume and costs, make price change recommendations to support business goals.
  • Manage, execute, and communicate formal lot-headed price change process as needed.
  • Deliver information as needed to global Commercial teams, including price changes, training on selling the category, and guiding procedures such as physical inventories.

Supply Management

  • Gain a thorough understanding of all category suppliers and their areas of expertise to achieve mutual objectives. Build and foster strong, positive relationships with the vendor base.
  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Channel Planning in meeting the acquisition schedule and ensuring on-time procurement for active and new products. Adjust or shift quantities as needed to meet fluctuating customer demands and/or to address vendor constraints, delays, or other issues.
  • Evaluate and address long-term supplier capacity constraints.
  • Partner with Channel Planning as needed to address demand fluctuations or vendor issues.
  • Regularly review existing collection to ensure the highest quality supplier execution and propose solutions as needed.
  • Support TCO Social Accountability and Responsible Sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensure proper communication and partnership from vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • Overall knowledge/experience in the workings of retail business practices
  • Minimum 5 years of related business experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new software
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to think strategically
  • Must have excellent organizational, communication and written skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work with global teams across time zones as needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited University

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the product offered at Tiffany & Co.
  • Knowledge of gross margin and turn calculations
  • Working knowledge of MIPS, APA, Essbase, Anaplan, and JDEdwards

The hiring range for this position ranges from $104,000 - $146,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
