We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Worker to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises. We’ll rely on you to keep our facility in perfect condition by doing various projects.
Deft hands and technical knowledge are important parts of a handyman’s arsenal. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and work with little to no supervision and a team player with great communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
- Paint / Wallpaper facility walls
- fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.)
- Undertake light installation or carpeting / flooring (e.g. build furniture)
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow)
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
- Attention to detail
