Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain pool chemicals and water levels, including vacuuming, backwashing, and testing pool levels
• Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive hotel
• Perform general repairs and assigned maintenance duties in a satisfactory and timely manner
• Respond to complaints or problems from guests and other departments in a timely manner
• Keep tools and maintenance equipment and equipment rooms clean and secure
• Whenever an Amtex or any order is delivered, move the supply on the second floor storage. Assist the Hotel manager to rearrange the storage.
• Conduct daily walk through of both hotels and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance of physical structures of the hotels, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC and all other hotel systems and related equipment
• Replace all non-operating TVs, phones, and other equipment as needed
• Replace all AC/Heating filters in the guest rooms and public areas and offices per the Preventative Maintenance Schedule
• Repair minor plumbing and electrical problems as requested
• Deliver and pick up various parts, machinery, etc
• Diagnose and repair any lock problems and replace as needed
• Observe OSHA health and safety rules and regulations
• Complete preventative maintenance duties on schedule
• Responsible for the upkeep of the property grounds and buildings, including trashes, landscaping, and parking lot clean up
• Meet customer service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
• Adhere to all work order policies and procedures
• Communicate parts and materials needs to Hotel Manager in a timely manner
• Keep adequate parts, materials, and supplies on supply cart
• Maintain and repair carpet, wall covering, furniture, painted surfaces, change burned out light bulbs, , and other cosmetic repairs in guest rooms and public areas as assigned in preventative maintenance schedule
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately
• Shovel ice and snow from parking lots and sidewalks and salt during bad weather
• Assist with all deep cleaning procedures
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by Hotel Manager in a timely manner
• Must be willing and able to assist others inside and outside the department

Physical demands and work environment:

• Ability to maintain physical condition and stamina appropriate for the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time.
• Constant pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
• Constant squatting or bending required.
• May work a fairly irregular schedule, long hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform duties and adapt to flexible work schedules as established by management.
• Will be called in when needed.
• Noise level could be moderate to loud n work environment, especially in the laundry area.
• Ability to work in stressful environment and deal effectively with stress.
• No cell phones while on clock.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• On call
