WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to work between two multi-family residential properties in Indianapolis, IN.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building maintenance; including completing work orders in occupied apartments and unit turns in vacant apartments
  • Respond to resident requests for maintenance, troubleshoot problems and take action to resolve maintenance issues
  • Schedule contract services and purchase supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including light duty plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, HVAC

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude and be an effective team leader
  • Familiar with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, Workers' Compensation, Hazard Communication, and Fair Housing laws
  • Qualified individuals must have at least 3 years’ experience in property maintenance
  • Must be HVAC/EPA Certified
  • Plumbing Experience; CPVC Piping
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Applicant must have proven ability to properly diagnose and complete required maintenance/repair work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

  • Property maintenance: 3 years (Required)
