Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed, freestanding psychiatric hospital and outpatient center specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Cedar Hills Hospital provides a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

Cedar Hills Hospital currently has an opening for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse in our dynamic mental health facility, who will provide safe and effective nursing care in their assigned work area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Cedar Hills Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Nursing Department. The LPN/LVN/LPT performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. Work with multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health by assessing patients, planning for their care, and providing physical and psychological treatment.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing or vocational training as a Psychiatric Technician.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred.
Licensure: Currently has an unencumbered license as a Licensed Practical Nurse Nurse through the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Must maintain a valid driver's license preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
Training:
Successful completion of CPR certification, Crisis Management and Service Excellence training must occur within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in any restraining procedures. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
Must demonstrate basic computer literacy.
Compensation range:
$30.00 - $40.35/hour DOE plus full benefit package.
