EZCare, servicing Bayville NJ, is seeking reliable and compassionate LPN’s (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our agency! The ideal candidate is experienced in providing diverse basic care with a positive and patient manner, ensuring our residents are properly cared for. In addition, the LPN will also be responsible for:
- Planning and managing resident care according to their individual needs.
- Observing and recording resident’s medical history and physical condition.
- Obtaining vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Reviewing medical charts with nurses and doctors.
- Assisting physicians and RN’s.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families.
- Assisting in wound care maintenance.
- Ensuring resident’s comfort and quality of life.
- Monitoring residents throughout their treatment.
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements:
- Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
- Active/current LPN license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years recent nursing experience preferred
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Empathy for patients
- Ability to take instruction from doctors and nurses
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Critical thinking and communication skills
