Langdon Place of Exeter is looking for a full time 3p-11p LPN for our Memory Care Community!

Hours: 3p-11p LPN Monday through Friday, with an 8 week rotation for on call weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Program Director to exchange information regarding resident care and unit operations.
• Ensures residents' needs are met
• Answers any/all emergencies throughout the shift.
• Ensures resident care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice and the needs of the residents.
• Promotes an environment that is respectful, team oriented and responsive to the concerns of staff, residents and families.
• Completes rounds on the unit to observe residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met.
• Provides resident care when needed
• Contacts attending physician to obtain orders if needed
• Oversees medication management to ensure adequate supplies.
• Administers medication to residents
• Ensures communication between nursing staff
• Ensure that Physician orders are being followed as prescribed
• Ensures that resident's attending physician and family are promptly notified of any significant change in resident condition.
• Investigates resident and family complaints and takes appropriate action to bring resolution
• Demonstrates and evaluates nursing skills when needed.
• Ensures that the residents care plans are implemented and periodically reviewed

Qualifications:

Valid LPN License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
