LifeHealth, a federal government contractor, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide a variety of services in support of members of the Colorado Army National Guard.

This role works out of Buckley Air Force Base with periodic travel to the site at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs for PHA events. These are typically scheduled ahead of time. LifeHealth covers hotel, meal per diems and a mileage reimbursement when these occur.

LPN works four 10 hours days, Tuesday through Friday except on recognized US holiday.

LPN responsibilities Include (full job description provided at time of interview):

• Attend PHA and SRPs events as determined by the needs of the state and the individual units.
• Ensure those Soldiers referred by a provider are followed by the case management team.
• Provide a monthly report consisting of all cases and the status of each case regarding Soldiers’ care from the identification of the condition to when the Soldier is either: 1) Considered medically ready or 2) Administratively separated from the military
• Follow the regulations and policies applicable to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment, to include the AR 40-501 and other applicable guidance.
• Ensure all medical documentation received from the Soldier and/or their medical team is received and placed in appropriated electronic record, as well as the Soldier’s hard copy record.
• Ensure all administrative charting in eCase is completed.
• Not limited to other task not listed

Your skills/experience/job requirements:

• A valid current, non-restrictive Colorado State LPN license
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a LPN.
• Prior military experience preferred but not required
• Must be US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check.

What’s in it for you:

• Competitive starting salary - $24.28 per hour. If LPN does not need medical, dental, and vision insurance, additional health and welfare stipend of $4.23 per hour up to 40 hours in a week for a total of $28.51 per hour.
• A maximum of $150.00 in reimbursable continuing education annually
• 10 hour workday Tuesday to Friday, with 10 federal holidays off
• 10 days' vacation, 7 days of sick leave
